The cleanse detox has finally arrived! Are you ready for a seasonal clean? Transitioning into a new season is the ideal time to do a gentle detox, as our body is starting to prepare for the months ahead and a little helping hand can make you feel energized and ready. Although to a certain extent your body will naturally neautralise, transform or get rid of unwanted materials or substances, a detox is a process sin which a person makes nutritional changes to clear their body of toxins.
The purpose of a detoxification course is primarily to support your organs to metabolise and excrete toxins present in the body. Through the introduction of certain types of healthy foods, minerals & vitamins, your body will flourish as you feed it what it yearns for. Learn to rebalance and nourish your body back to its healthy place, taking control of your eating habits on this course.
The Detox evening course is an introduction to nutritional cooking, incorporating the healthiest foods into exciting and tasty recipes in a simplistic way. You will recharge your system, cleansing your body from the inside out so you will feel cleaner both physically and mentally.
You will learn to cook a wide range of simple, healthy dishes using fresh and easily available ingredients. Along the way you will discover the medicinal benefits of such ingredients, the importance of certain nutrient groups, and how to continue to eat after the detoxification which will define your body’s new path.

Avocado & mint kefir smoothie
Green Tea smoothie,
Spicy broccoli soup, artichoke gratin, dandelion, beetroot & citrus salad,
Cashew & cardamon date balls,
Raw pecan & cinnamon bars.
Our hands-on cookery classes at KitchenJoy’s Kitchen in Chiswick include the ingredients, food preparation and cooking equipment, and drinks. You will prepare and cook dishes around the KitchenJoy island and can enjoy eating your dishes together with the group on the long dining table. There will also be some left over foods for you to take home to share with your loved ones.
